Fruity Tooties

"Fruity Tooties" is a series of smaller-scale oil on canvas paintings depicting fruits and or people holding fruits. I found myself interested in the richness of colors that fruits have, pomegranates especially. Also as a Queer person, I am familiar with being referred to as "fruity" so I thought this would be a good way to hold the term in a more positive and fun light. Each painting that depicts a person, or portions of a person, holding a fruit is another person in the LGBTQ community!
